Established in 2018, “New Classics Motor Club” is a group of motorheads in Long Prairie, MN and the surrounding area.
Nick, Ambrose and Andy have always been gearheads and enjoyed going to shows. It was always a bit of a daydream for them to start their own club – until one day, in the middle of winter 2018, they finally decided to go for it…Although there are several great nearby clubs, they decided to build something from the ground up for themselves. As of today, they have 29 members.
The reason we went with “motor club” and not “car club” is because we enjoy basically anything with a motor whether it be cars, trucks, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles, etc. The vehicle types may differ, but we all share the same passion and are proud of our rides.
New Classics Motor Club’s annual show is held on the last Saturday in July and takes place at the Todd County fairgrounds in Long Prairie. The club’s goal is to make each show bigger and better than the last. Activities at shows include a burnout contest, vendors, pinup girls, door prizes, a food stand, and many classes with awesome trophies.
The thing we would like to stress about our club and our shows, is that it doesn’t matter your age or style of vehicle you’re in to..even if its a project you’re still working on..if you’re proud of it and enjoy meeting other enthusiasts, you are welcome with us!
